Problems to solve
Expressing luxury and authenticity
WI Yacht has an impressive clients portfolio, thanks to its expertise in navigation and yachts selection.
However, with little resources allocated to brand image and marketing, WI Yacht started to feel outpaced by the competitors.
The brand wanted to regain a luxury appeal, while maintaining its distinct authentic “sailor” touch, that made the brand what it is today..
WI Yacht also needed to upgrade the UX of their website, which would also need to take into consideration sales & management tasks.
Creative Solutions
Emmanuel created the company while living and sailing in the Windward Islands. The name has a meaning that needed to be celebrated.
We were inspired by the nautical chart, as it is an indispensable element in sailing.
We saw the potential of it being associated with both authentic passion and luxury, so we used it as the anchor of the new brand identity.
The graphic system aimed to be smooth and flowy, to convey the feeling of freedom and travel, of wind and waves.
It took inspiration from the distinct typographic arrangement and map components from the nautical chart.
